Cinnamon Date Cashew Butter (gf + vegan)
I used to think that making nut butters would be way too hard, but I am so glad I got over my homemade nut butter phobia! I had some extra cashews on hand one day when I was recipe testing, so I randomly decided to throw them in the blender with cinnamon and dates. I quickly learned that making nut butter is so super easy and totally worth it.
This cashew butter is naturally sweet from the dates and has a great cinnamon aroma. Spread it on toast, have it with a banana, or literally just eat it with a spoon because it’s that good.
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups cashews, soaked in water overnight
1 tsp cinnamon
3 medjool dates
Pinch of salt
Steps:
Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender or food processor and blend until you can’t blend no more (aka until its super smooth)!
